Wholesale · Approval inventory Growth
Every approval piece. Every hand it passed through.
Take forty pieces from four jewellers, send them out mixed to six parties, and still see in one look whose piece is where, at what rate, and when it has to go back. Return vouchers, purchase orders and invoices fill themselves in.
- Chain of custody for every piece
- Two due dates on every piece
- Your rate for each party

Why it matters
Approval is where stock quietly goes missing
On approval, nothing is yours and everything is your responsibility. A diary and three WhatsApp groups can’t answer the three questions every owner asks.
-
“Whose piece is this?”
A tikka comes back from a party. Was it Aadinath’s or Bhandari’s?
Answered. Every piece keeps the jeweller’s tag and yours from the day it comes in.
-
“Who has it right now?”
Forty pieces, six parties, a memo each. The diary can’t keep up.
Answered. One map shows every piece and who holds it today.
-
“When does it go back?”
The jeweller gave you 30 days. You gave the party 15. Do the dates line up?
Answered. Two clocks on every piece, and a warning when they clash.
Chain of custody
Every hand, every date, every rate
Open any piece and read its whole story: which jeweller gave it, each party it went to, the rate you gave each one, when it came back, and how it ended.
- Jeweller’s tag and your own tag on one piece
- Every memo out and every return, with dates
- Ends as sold, returned, kept by you or missing
- A Aadinath Jewellers, Mumbai Gave it on memo MI-27-0184 · 12 Sep · 90 days ₹4,37,800

- YOU Mehta Jewellers Received 12 Sep · tag AP-1006
- Memo MO-27-0417 · 8 Oct · 15 days

Two clocks
The jeweller’s date and the party’s date, side by side
Every piece counts down twice: the days the jeweller gave you, and the days you gave the party. If the party’s date runs past the jeweller’s, CaratOS tells you the day you send it out, not the day the jeweller calls.
- Overdue pieces turn red on the page and in Needs you
- Jewellers with pieces due soon are listed first
Date clash. Dhanlaxmi wants AP-1033 back by 14 Nov, but you gave Tanishka until 21 Nov. Flagged on the memo before you save it.
Your rate, per party
Take it at ₹30,000. Offer it at ₹45,000 or ₹50,000.
The same piece can go to different parties at different rates. Each time it goes out, you set that party’s rate, and the margin shows against your cost from the jeweller. Change a rate any time before the bill.
- Starts from your usual rate for that party
- Margin on every line, before you send

A map of every piece, or a simple grid
The flow map draws one line per piece, from the jeweller, through you, to whoever has it now. Prefer rows and columns? Switch to the grid: jewellers down the side, parties across, one dot per piece.
- Click any line or dot to open the piece
- Filter by jeweller, party, status, metal and date
