Terms of Service

Last updated: 1 July 2026

1. Agreement

These terms govern access to and use of CaratOS (“the Service”), a jewellery business management suite. By creating a shop account or signing in, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and the shop you represent.

2. Accounts and shops

Each shop’s data (inventory, customers, invoices, cash flow records and configuration) is isolated to that shop’s account. Shop administrators are responsible for managing staff access and permissions within their own account.

3. Acceptable use

  • Use the Service only for legitimate business operations related to running a jewellery shop.
  • Do not attempt to access another shop’s data, circumvent access controls, or interfere with the Service’s operation.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of business, tax and compliance data you enter. CaratOS assists with GST calculation but does not replace professional tax advice.

4. Data and content

You retain ownership of the business data you enter into CaratOS. We store and process it to provide the Service, including cloud synchronisation across your devices.

5. Our commitments on your shop’s data

  • Only you and the staff you allow can see your shop’s data: your sales, stock, prices, customers and suppliers.
  • Izara Gems Pvt. Ltd. runs CaratOS. Its jewellery businesses, Izara Gems and RareCut, never use your shop’s data: not to sell to you, not to set prices, not for market trends, and not with names removed.
  • CaratOS support staff can open your account only when you switch support on. Each visit ends after 2 hours, and your Settings show a log of everything they looked at.
  • CaratOS treats every supplier the same. It never pushes you to buy from Izara Gems or anyone else, and shows no Izara ads or suggestions.
  • You can export all your data at any time. If you close your account, we delete your shop’s data, so export anything you need to keep first.

6. Third-party integrations

Optional integrations (such as WhatsApp messaging) are provided for convenience. Their availability depends on the third-party service remaining accessible and correctly configured by you.

7. Availability

We aim to keep the Service available and reliable, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance or unforeseen issues may occasionally affect availability.

8. Termination

Either party may discontinue use of the Service. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe pose a security risk to the Service or other shops.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

10. Contact

Questions about these terms can be raised through your CaratOS account, on the Talk to us page, or by email to hello@caratos.co.in.
